The Museum Incubator has started up again, bringing together specialists from the museum and cultural heritage sector to develop digital services, test new ideas, share practical experiences, receive guidance, and exchange information. The Museum Incubator offers participants a supportive environment where research‑based knowledge and museum practice can be combined to develop sustainable and impactful digital heritage solutions.
At the beginning of the season, we received valuable input from the experience of the National Library of Estonia (RaRa). We learned how services are designed at RaRa and how activities are being renewed in the renovated building. Service designer Margus Veinmann shared RaRa’s experiences, highlighting both organisational and practical lessons. Within the incubator, we practiced prototyping and explored how ideas can be turned into testable, user‑centred solutions.
More information about the goals and activities of the Museum Incubator can be found here.
