The International OA Week seminar day, “Who Pays and Who Is Responsible for Open Knowledge?”, will take place on 22 October at the University of Tartu Library Conference Centre.

From 9:00 to 10:45, the HUM Data Lab will host a workshop at the University of Tartu Library entitled “Making the Research Process Visible: Using and Documenting Workflows.”
The workshop will explore how to make research processes more transparent and understandable, and how to document different stages of research so that others can learn from them and reuse them in their own work.

Together, we will try out two research workflows published by the HUM Data Lab and explore how easily they can be reused. Afterwards, each participant will have the opportunity to outline a workflow for one of their own research tasks.

The workshop is suitable for Master's students, doctoral students and other researchers, particularly those working in the humanities and social sciences. No programming skills or previous experience with workflows are required.

The workshop will be conducted in Estonian and facilitated by Kata Maria Mets, Mark Mets and Kaisa Langer from the HUM Data Lab.

The workshop is part of the International Open Access Week seminar day, “Who Pays and Who Is Responsible for Open Data?”
